Nicole Clark is a Forrest Yoga trained instructor with over seven years of experience. Immediately after completing instructor training at the Forrest Yoga Circle/Institute in 2002, Nicole began teaching at the studio. In 2007, Nicole brought her passion for Forrest Yoga to Yummy Yoga in Los Angeles, California when she joined their staff. In addition to teaching at Yummy Yoga, Nicole has also worked with private clients throughout Southern California. Since her move to Boston, MA in January of 2010, Nicole continues to teach studio classes at the Back Bay Yoga Studio in Boston as well as private clientele. Nicole’s classes embody the principles of Forrest Yoga (breath, strength, integrity and spirit) by focusing on strengthening the core, and working with the breath while maintaining a mind body connection throughout practice. Nicole is known for her core work, and deep understanding of the positive effect a strong core has on the rest of the body.
Nicole’s expertise extends far beyond her Forrest Yoga experience. Nicole has also trained and worked extensively with Hugh and Giorgia Milne at the Milne Institute where she studied and put into practice the institute’s visionary approach to Craniosacral Work. Craniosacral is a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses the method of the healing touch to re-align the body and center the mind. Nicole combines the craniosacral touch with massage techniques and a vast understanding of anatomy to treat her clients. Nicole continues her in depth studies with the Milne Institute by working with both Hugh and Giorgia Milne on assisting with beginning and intermediate craniosacral and craniosacral anatomy trainings throughout California.
The combination of yoga, Craniosacral Bodywork, and a natural ability to sense the depth and root of each individual client’s particular needs enables Nicole to work with diverse clientele. Nicole treats a variety of clients including (but not limited to) cancer patients, stroke victims, those suffering from heart disease, addiction, endometriosis, sciatica, back pain and shoulder injuries. Whether a client is recovering from a terminal illness, a C-section, a car accident or simply a pulled muscle, Nicole’s intuitive, soothing and caring work plays an integral part in the healing process. As an experienced yogi and practitioner of Craniosacral Bodywork, Nicole understands that healing the body is only part of the process. Often, our hearts and minds need just as much healing as our bodies throughout the road to recovery. Through Nicole’s intensive, yet compassionate, sessions, she is able to identify emotional triggers for physical pain. By recognizing the source of pain, Nicole is able to help clients heal both internally and externally, allowing them to move on to the next stage in their lives with a new awareness of their bodies and sense of self.

Dear friend,
This program is a 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training. As such it will be a mentally, physically and emotionally challenging process designed to enable serious students to become inspired teachers. You will practice asana, meditation, and pranayama to the point of proficiency and beyond. Your knowledge of Yoga theory will deepen to the point that it will become an aspect of the fabric of your life and of everything you do and say as a yoga teacher. You will learn to teach classes that combine a consistent therapeutic vision with the inspired spontaneity that is the hallmark of Vinyasa Yoga. You will develop a thorough understanding of the elements of the therapeutic principles of Yoga and be able to design a class or teach a pose in such a manner that your students will immediately embody those principles.
Namasté and I look forward to the start of this journey with you,
Rolf
