Class Refund Policy

Please note: this policy is for regular classes only. Please see event & workshop and training & continuing education refund policies for their respective policies.

Once you have a spot reserved in the class you may cancel ONLINE, up to 4 HOURS prior to the start time without penalty. All unused classes are returned to your account for future use. If you see LATE CANCEL as the only option to cancel out of class, then you are past the 4 hour timeline to cancel and will lose that class. There are no refunds for any payments made so please CHOOSE your classes carefully. If you reserve a space in a class and no-show a penalty will be assessed.

LATE CANCEL/NO-SHOW PENALTIES:

  • Drop-in/Class Card Holders: You will lose the class used to make the reservation
  • Unlimited Membership You will lose one day off of your membership.

If you are not in the class by the start time, your place will be given to someone on the wait list.

PLEASE NOTE: If you make a purchase in order to make your reservation and subsequently cancel, your drop-in/class card will remain on your account for future use. Our system will not process credit card refunds in this instance and ALL PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Special Event & Workshop Refund Policy

Please note: this policy is for special events and workshops only. Please see class and training & continuing education refund policies for their respective policies.

Workshop purchases are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another individual for the same event only OR a studio credit LESS a $25 administrative fee will be issued if you notify us in writing (help@backbayyoga.com) at least 72 hours before the start of the event. No other refunds or credits are available under any circumstances. Our workshop policy is firm.

Class cards are not valid for workshops.

Teacher Training & Continuing Education Refund Policy

Please note: this policy is for teacher trainings and continuing education only. Please see class and special event/workshop refund policies for their respective policies.

BBY Mentorships and Teacher Trainings are non-refundable. If you must withdraw from a Teacher Training AND a replacement can be found, a studio credit will be given less your $500 deposit (or 25% of fee for non-200hr trainings). If a replacement cannot be found, no refund or credit will be given. For mentorships, Studio credit less $50 administrative fee will be issued. Once the event has commenced, no refunds or credits will be given.
